HDD Recovery when undetected by Operating System

Once I was stuck in a problem, such that a new laptop hard disk was undetected by operating system though it’s detected on BIOS. This problem occurred when I tried to re-partition the HDD that has Windows Vista running, with third party partition software. Later I found that those re-partitioned disk were undetected by Operating System. So I tried to format with bootable Windows XP/Windows Vista and other bootable CD but unable to solve. So I searched in the internet for the solution and found this software which solved the problem.

Active@ KillDisk
Powerful and compact software that allows you to destroy ALL data on your hard and floppy drives completely, excluding any possibility of future recovery of deleted files and folders. KillDisk implements recommendations of US Department of Defense security standard DoD 5220.22-M, German VSITR, Russian GOST and the most secure Gutmann’s method.
New disk wipe function wipes out all unused space on existing drives, not touching existing data. Package now includes additional a real-mode application which is more compatible with different types of hardware and more compact in size.
